Unearthly Landscapes
This project is an exploration of two fundamental elements in our world: Water and Oil.
Without water we could not survive, it provides the foundations for our entire existence. Oil is also a precious substance, created deep underground, a unique process that takes thousands of years. Together they are more important than what we realise. Both in our daily lives and in the universe that surrounds us.
Our planet and universe is vast and full of the unknown. Water and oil lurk deep underground. When they are brought together they repel, pushing against each other, almost fighting for recognition. Their combination forms magical landscapes. They hold mystery and beauty within dark spaces, between this world and the next.
